Y2 Tagus Class Assembly
Year 2 Tagus performed in assembly last week about significant people of the past and how they contributed to making the world a better place. They also shared with us their ideas for the future.

Head Lice : Please note that there are some cases of head lice in the school. This is not unusual when large numbers of children are working and playing closely together. If you find your child does have head lice, it must be treated to ensure it does not spread. We urge you to routinely check you child's hair and follow advice on the NHS website for wet combing to eradicate any eggs or lice present:
Welbourne Early Years hosts visitors from other schools
We were very proud to host an open evening for Early Years staff for the Local Authority on Wednesday. Staff from schools across Haringey came to look at our learning environments as examples of outstanding provision. Feedback was excellent - keep up the good work everyone!
!Count On Us Maths Challenge
Jaan, Kadian and John from Y5 represented Welbourne in the Mayor's Fund for London Maths Challenge this week and came in third place out of 125 other schools. They proceed to the semi final
30 Hours Child Care
As of September 2017 Haringey Council are offering 30 hours free child-care for 3 and 4 year olds. If you are interested and would like to check your eligibility please come and speak to one of the of the members of the office team.  
Prefect Applications 
We are currently recruiting Junior Prefects for Year 4 and Prefects for Y5. If you would like to apply, please collect an application form from the office. You will need to fill in the application form and you will also be required to submit a letter of application to Ms Duggal stating why you think you would be the best person for this job. Both application and letters should be returned to the school office by lunchtime on Friday 5th May. 

Reading Race The reading race is a school competition that rewards the class that has read the most.
Congratulations Y3 Okavango who have read 49 times and Y6 Niagara who have read 103 times at home last week!
