 IMPORTANT INFORMATION: PARENTS EVENING
We will be holding a Parents Evening for you to meet with your child’s class teacher on Wednesday 9th March or Monday 14th March between 4-7pm.
It is important that you meet with your child’s teacher at this mid point in the school year to discuss their progress and targets for the rest of the year.
Welbourne celebrated the Chinese New
Year in style with our brand new display.
Students used the Chinese alphabet to spell out their names.
Parent Questionnaire Summary

We are constantly trying to improve the way we do things at Welbourne and your feedback is very important to us.

Here are some of the things you told us we are doing well:
  • Taking care of your children and making the place safe and happy for them
  • Teaching and learning
  • Behaviour management and the traffic light system
  • Great facilities and a stimulating environment
  • Communication with parents
  • Leadership and management of the school
Some parents told us that they would like:
  • Even better communication
  • More workshops for parents
  • More after school clubs and activities
  • Improvements to the Key Stage 1 playground
We have been working on your suggestions and here are some of the things we are doing:
  • The newsletter is more frequent - every two weeks instead of every month
  • The school website is updated regularly
  • We are reviewing our after school activities and have plans for a more varied menu. For example, there is now a netball club for girls every week
  • The governors have set aside a budget to improve the Key Stage 1 playground
  • Some parent workshops for reading have already taken place we hope to offer a wider variety of workshops in the near future
If you have any further suggestions please let us know..
