We are proud and delighted to be recognised  for our work to prevent bullying at Welbourne and to receive another year of accreditation from the Bullying Intervention Group (BIG). Special thanks go out to Mr Lane and the Welbourne BIG group for making this happen. The Welbourne BIG group is made up of parents, pupils, staff and governors. You can find out more here:
Make Manners A Must

Senior prefects have organised activities around the school to promote good manners. They have been teaching sessions in class to younger children and have worked together to nominate a manners champion.

They have really helped all of their peers to remember their marvellous manners.

Reading Race The reading race is a school competition that rewards the class that has read the most.
Congratulations Y6 Niagara who have read 169 times at home last week!
Royal Albert Hall

'My favourite part of the Royal Albert Hall was when we were performing the Spanish song. There were also 5 or 6 children from Haringey Vox Choir playing Sorry by Justin Beiber on steelpans. We all loved it.' - Lelah Y6 Niagara

My favourite bit of taking part in the Royal Albert Hall was when we sang a Spanish Song. Also, there was a choir called Haringey Vox and they were amazing. They sang a song called 'Umisays' - Kerry Y6 Niagara

Absence Text Messages
You can now send texts to notify us of your child's absence. Just text your child's name, class and the reason for their absence to 07860030526
Flu Immunisation

The school nursing service will be offering flu vaccinations in our school to all children in years 1, 2 and 3.

This will be from October 2016 until December 2016, as this is before influenza tends to circulate.

Information, contact details and consent forms will be sent out in September. Your child will not be vaccinated without your consent. In the meantime if you require further information please contact your school nurse, GP or practice nurse
Head Lice
Please note that there are some cases of head lice in the school. This is not unusual when large numbers of children are working and playing closely together. If you find your child does have head lice, it must be treated to ensure it does not spread.
We urge you to routinely check you child's hair and follow advice on the NHS website for wet combing to eradicate any eggs or lice present:
