Headteacher's Welcome
I hope you all had an enjoyable summer break and are ready for the new school year.
I am pleased to see that the children have returned with positive attitudes to their learning and are already settled in to their new classes. I hope this is an early indication that this year will be even more successful than the last!
I am also pleased to introduce new staff to Welbourne: Ms Simkassi, Ms Frain, Ms Kent , Ms Mannion, Mr McKenna, Mr Graham and Mr Gaches-Tooley. A very warm welcome to all of you!
Over the summer holidays we have had some building works taking place to remodel the first floor in the main school. We now have two new group rooms, an office and a Sensory Room. As I write the site team are moving furniture and resources in to the new learning spaces and the children and staff will benefit from the new facilities very soon.
I will continue to ensure that the school provides the best possible opportunities and experiences for your children and look forward to working with you to help them to be the best they can be.
Thank you for your continuing support and cooperation.
Ms Duggal

 Fabulous Welbourne Harvest

The school garden club had a fabulous harvest including apples, pears, plums, marrow, squashes, tomatoes and even some lovely aubergines. All the food harvested will be used in the school kitchen in the next two weeks, so watch out for apple crumble, marrow soup and moussaka.
