On Friday 8th January 2016, the teachers at Welbourne were tremendously excited to welcome Pie Corbett (a specialist in writing and children’s education) to deliver training in ‘Talk for Reading’. We already use his ‘Talk for Writing’ approach in English and were looking forward to learning some of his approaches to teaching reading. All teachers left feeling inspired and eager to try out his creative ideas.
