By Mr Coke In Announcements, News, School Trips On Wednesday 11th March some children from the junior choir and some children from Ganges Class took part in the Voice In A Million Concert at Wembley Arena. Voice In A Million is a project founded in 2009 to raise awareness for children who have been orphaned, abandoned or separated from their parents. The project achieves this by staging large arena concerts with one of the largest children’s choirs in the world. Over five thousand children participated in the concert. We learnt songs at school to sing at the concert such as ‘All of Me’ by John Legend and ‘Best Song Ever’ by One Direction. We arrived at the stadium at 3pm, had a rehearsal then performed in the concert at 7.30pm in front of an audience of parents. The children got t-shirts and glow sticks at the concert and they were excited to see Alesha Dixon singing and Bars and Melody perform!
