Welbourne takes part in the NSPCC Number Day
By Margaret Carrington In News, Newsletter, Parents, PupilsOn Friday 7 February 2020, pupils were invited to wear an item of clothing with a number on it – some pupils were really creative in their ideas. They add squares and numbers to their jumpers, wearing shirts with spots to count and creating their own number designs ! They took part in Dress up for Digits to help to raise money to support the NSPCC.
This year was the 20th anniversary of the event, which we took part in last year. Number Day is a great way to make maths fun and bring about a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude towards it. We had lots of maths and number fun at school. Everyone enjoyed the fun of Number Day, and we really appreciated your support.
