Year 1 Water Aid Appeal
By Mr McKenna In News, Year 1, Year 1 Pupil BlogThrough the story ‘Lila and the Secret of Rain’ Year 1 have been learning about the challenges faced by those who live in extreme hot and dry climates and the importance of clean water to humans. They have also been learning about the amazing work that Water Aid does to help those that are in need.
In our literacy lessons we wrote letters to Water Aid explaining why they must help Lila. As ‘without water, there can be no life’.
